Meets Jimmy Barr who lives in Coalburn. They start dating. He is in the Air Force, and the net of her hat catches on his uniform stripes when she nestles into his shoulders :) They marry in Bluevale Street on March 5th at 7.30pm. Jimmy only just makes it back in time from Blackpool where he has been stationed.
